This bed comes in many pieces and took about 3.5 hours to assemble. My husband did most of the assembly alone so if two people were working together it would take less time. The bed is made of particle board with a laminate finish and the drawer mechanisms are plastic. We didn’t have any issues with broken pieces. There’s a good amount of storage in the drawers. We bought it for our almost 3 year old. He loves it. The bed looks really good in his room. Overall, I would say this is a good bed for the price which is why I gave it 5 stars. The quality is what I expected at this price point.
