We bought this for our daughter for her 5th birthday (along with the headboard, night stand, and dresser/mirror). We are pleased with the purchase. It is just as described… We like to buy used furniture from CraigsList, but found that this was almost as inexpensive, but it’d be brand-new and not require us to borrow a truck. We’d make the same choice again.

I love the size and look of this bed! I went from a Queen-sized to a single and I’m very happy with my cozy bed. I put it together by myself even though I’m not adept at that sort of thing. My one tiny gripe is that the drawer slides are plastic and if I used them a lot they’d be toast rather quickly, I believe. And I wasn’t wild about the drawer knobs so I got ones that I liked better. Other than that, the bed is sturdy, the headboard is very convenient and I had NO trouble putting it all together. Best of all, it arrived before the estimated arrival time and that was great! All in all, I’m very happy with my purchase.
I bought this bed over a year ago for my oldest daughter. I bought the bookcase headboard as well. I put the whole thing together by myself in less then an hour.it was very easy. You will need help to lift it into your house. It shipped faster then expected. It looks really nice..better then the picture! It is sturdy and my daughter loves it. I have no complaints even after more then a year of having it.

It’s easy to assemble buy one person.
It comes with felt pads to protect your floor, but if you are in carpet I recommend that you buy slider pads instead. While this bed is sturdy, the assembly is not sturdy enough for its weight. So if you need to slide it out on the carpet you won’t be able too, at least not easily and not without flexing the frame somewhat (not a good idea). But the sider will take of that. The drawer supports are very cheap plastic. I bet they will brake if over used (i.e. too often, too packed, overfilled), hence my one star off. Be careful when hammering down those plastic supports in place, as you could easily brake the plastic. I ended up just pushing hard with my hands.
The mattress will sit on two plain base boards, not on lates. This typically increase the firmness, just so you know when you pick your mattress.
The first time I received it arrived damaged (packaging was torn-up). Cymax was prompt in sending a new one and getting the damaged one out. It’s unclear to me if it’s the transporter or the manufacturer who should be blamed. However seeing how the replacement arrived in the same type of packaging, but in perfect shape, I am tempted to think that one of the handler screwed up because this thing is heavy and require to person to lift.
