The set is cute and colorful. My son loves it. The set is soft to the touch, as it’s 100% cotton. Great value.

They wrinkle rather easily, but are good sheets and my grandson loves sleeping with his trucks and cars already so now he can be surrounded with them!!

My toddler loves the pattern on this sheet set. Every time he goes over to his bed, he wants us to name all of the vehicles on the sheet and pillowcase. I’m a less satisfied with this purchase than he is though.

    Pros:
-The colors are great- not the headache-inducing primary colors that are on so many kids’ items, but not all wimpy pastels either. They are kind of a soothing blend of the 2- perfect for bedtime.
    – I like that the pattern has a mix of vehicles, not just all one type. Which is perfect for him now that he seems to be growing out of his train phase and into a construction vehicle phase.
-I love that it makes him happy.

    Cons:
-I have yet to pull this set out of the wash and not find it overly wrinkled. It doesn’t matter what setting I put the wash on or how much fabric softener is used… it just seems to be in a slightly worse condition each time I wash it.
-The fabric itself is not of a very good quality. For the price, I was expecting a much higher thread count / smoothness to it.
-The pillowcase came with a small stain in the center of one side of the pillowcase. It looks like an ink mark and has yet to fade or wash out.

Bottom line- We both like the pattern and colors in this set, but I would definitely not pay such a high price for it again. Also, I think that since this brand is specifically geared towards young children, it would be nice if Olive Kids made their sets from a softer cotton jersey material, rather than very very cheap basic cotton.

We ended up buying this from Kohls for a better deal, but we are in love with this pattern. We have dark cherry furniture and these colors look great with it. We bought 2 sets for 2 boys, and 1 of the four fitted sheets consistently comes off the mattress. Not a big deal; we bought the extra sets for backups anyway. Would recommend this, because it still looks great after months of use, and our boys love them.
