I was very excited to receive this product because I based our entire nursery theme around the deer and the colors. After I received the blanket I read the care instructions and washed the blanket in like colors following the directions. The brown from the deer bled onto the white blanket and there was a lot of piling. I am overall disappointed with the quality.
I was so happy to get this cute blanket as a gift to find that it practically disintegrated when laundering it. I am still getting lint off of everything else I washed it with. Sadly, the lint problem was so bad I wouldn’t even donate it…it went in the trash! Unacceptable for a blanket at this price….organic or not, this blanket was completely disappointing.

This blanket is so soft and cuddly! It is also much more attractive in person than in the poorly-lit image. The deer and grass pattern is at the bottom and the rest is the cream color. It is a wonderfully soft blanket, but does not have that artificial feel that so many non-cotton baby blankets have. It is fairly thin but also insulating and great for keeping warm.
Looks good with the decor- but I wouldn’t purchase it again. It didn’t wash well so I ended up sticking it in a drawer and not really using it. It looked cute before I washed it, but not so much now.
I received this blanket only yesterday, so I have not yet washed and it and thus can’t speak to how well it holds up in the wash. The reason for my giving it two stars is that it feels cheap, soft on one side and far less so on the other, has a bit of a chemical smell, and doesn’t even feel like cotton – more like fleecy sythetic material. Nowhere near the feel I had hoped for. Further, the blanket is made in China, which quite honestly makes me a bit suspcious of what it is made of or may have been treated with given the smell and feel of the fabric. Please note that the blanket is labeled as organic cotton, wth the exception of the design applique, so if the blanket being 100% organic cotton is important to you, this is probably not the best option for you.
