  1. I loved this set…the design is cute, and I’d like to give it a star for the design, but being cute is worthless if the bedding is rendered useless by washing.

First, the diaper holder included is puny and flimsy.
Second, I tried the fitted sheet on the mattress and initially it fit. Satisfied, I washed it on cold water, dried in the dryer on the “air dry” setting–after drying I could not force this sheet on my standard crib mattress. I struggled with the sheet and mattress until I was out of breath, but to no avail.
Third, I also washed the blanket–the blanket, I suppose is decorative more than anything since it isn’t safe to leave a blanket in the crib with a baby, but I wanted it washed since it was made in China. Upon removing it from the dryer it was essentially a big ball of cotton mess inside the thin exterior shell of the blanket.
The fourth piece, is the dust ruffle, which looked cute, and I didn’t wash it, so I can’t say how it holds up in the wash, but just be aware that it is quite possible you may not be able to see the design due to the bottom rail of the crib–not a flaw with the design, but just how it works out.

Either way, we’re returning our set to the store where we bought them and removing the matching accessories from our registy

I ordered this set from another site, so my rating is not a reflection of Amazon’s shipping or service. I was very disappointed, when this set arrived at my home, to learn that it was Made in China. The site where I ordered it had initially advertised it as USA made, but they have since retracted this. This set is not even mostly organic; just the one, fitted sheet is.

If you were looking for something organic or sweatshop-free, I’m sorry to say that you’ll have to keep looking. This is just the usual greenwashed, Chinese cr*p.

I have had this set for 2 years now and still love it. I wash the sheet several times a week and it still fits the matress and has barely faded. The cotton inside does bundle up in the blanket when washed, but it has tie strings inside so you just take it out after drying and re do. The set is all very soft, my now toddler takes his “blankie” everywhere and it’s held up incredibly well.
