We bought the Crescent Mini-Crib Mattress, which is 6″ thick, and we had trouble finding fitted sheets for it. Fortunately, we found these Gerber sheets, which are actually designed to be a full-size crib sheet, but all the reviews complain that they are way too small for a full-size crib mattress.
So we took a chance, bought a couple of them, washed them in hot water, and they fit perfectly on our mini-crib mattress!
I’m only giving them four stars because we are not using them for their intended purpose, but if you are looking for a fitted sheet for a thick mini-crib mattress, these do the trick nicely, plus they are made from organic cotton. We love them.
after first washing, the sheet was already too small. it was a major wrestling match to get it on to the mattress. now, i unrealistically hope to never have to take it off once he gets here. if i had not thrown the packaging out, i would return it…
I purchased this because of the price and softness of the sheet. However, the fit is so tight it barely fits on my Sealy mattress…I also wanted to purchase an organic mattress pad…there is no way it would all work. Disappointed.
It doesn’t fit a standard crib! What is the purpose of a crib sheet smaller than the standard crib mattress? Stay away from Gerber, I have only been disappointed in their products. I bought two sheets, washed them and then neither one fit the mattress! I wish you could give a zero star rating. Don’t waste your money.
This sheet is too small for a standard crib mattress. You can stretch and force it on the mattress, but it will cause the mattress to bow and cause a safety hazard rendering it unfit for use
I also ordered this sheet because I really liked the fit and quality of the pink dotted sheet of the same exact brand. This pink one requires alot of wrestling to put on the crib and today the elastic popped apart and the fabric tore. I called the company and they are sending me a return label for inspection. They said they will send a reimbursement check.
I bought 2 of the sage sheets, because I love the orange dotted Gerber organic sheets and I assumed these would be the same high quality. I was wrong! When I took them out of the package, the fabric felt a lot thinner than the dotted ones. I washed them in cold water & dried them on medium just as do my others, and they just barely fit my crib mattress. I will probably donate these because I’m not going to fight to stretch these onto the mattress every time I change the sheet.
