We ordered this bed for our toddler who is two and a half and seems to be ready for a bed. We looked for a bed with a drawer because space is tight and we can use the extra storage. Although we are generally satisfied with the bed–it looks great, seems reasonably sturdy, and our son loves it–the drawer is a feature I wish I had known more about.

    Drawer problems:
    1) The drawer hardware comes pre-attached making it only possible to mount the drawer so that it opens to one side, the left side if you are looking from the foot of the bed towards the head of the bed. If you are considering a very specific space in your home, and we were, you should be aware of this fact because it will influence which direction the head must face when the bed is against a wall.
    2) Either the bed was just a little too long, or the drawer a little too narrow, because the drawer would not simultaneously reach the brackets on both sides. To deal with this problem, I removed the brackets and spaced them with cardboard cut from an old diaper box, which added enough space to make the drawer fit. The hardware is really poor quality though, so the drawer still doesn’t work very smoothly. On the plus side, since I was removing the drawer hardware anyway, when I reattached it, I reversed the mountings so the drawer could pull out on the opposite side of the bed, which is what we wanted.

I liked the design, the bed is sturdy, and the drawer is nice to have even tough it only opens up on one side. It was reasonably easy to put together as long as you are comfortable with a screw driver, and have some experience assembling Ikea style furniture.

My only complaint with the bed, and the reason behind my low rating, is that the bed I received had water damage. When I opened the box, I noticed there was mold growing on the front of the drawer as well as one of the beams holding the mattress in place. Though this is likely the cause of improper storage in the warehouse, it seems like something that could have been easily prevented. The fact that mine arrived with mold already growing on it, would seem to imply that the wood is not very resistant to mold, and that it could be an issue for you at home should you decide to purchase it. Mold growing on a kid’s bed is not good, and a serious health concern. As a result I returned the bed and am getting a different one.

I bought this bed to replace my toddler’s crib. The bed frame itself is sturdy and I like that he can’t roll out of it. The drawer is rather flimsy and shallow, so you can’t store all that much in it but it serves it’s purpose. Overall, it was a good buy. I’d recommend it to others. If only I could get him to sleep in it all night long…

We got this bed yesterday and my husband put it together in about an hour! I was afraid our daughter’s crib mattress was too small because it measured a little over 48 inches, but it is a perfect fit! The drawer is on a track and easily opens and closes, with a little room above the floor so it doesn’t drag. The only con I have for this bed is the support rails were a little difficult to line up, my husband ended up having to hammer them in using part of the cardboard so to not damage the bed. This bed is absolutely adorable and affordable! We love it and most importantly, our daughter LOVES it!

This bed looks great in the room. It’s sturdy and the perfect size. The only thing you need to watch out for is the drawer is not reversible. Because we put the headboard to the right, the drawer is inaccessable; it only pulls out if the headboard is to the left. However… if that’s what would work for you, it’s wonderful.

This bed is too cute. It is very sturdy and well-made. So glad I made this purchase. The drawer underneath is what sold it for me.

very cute, my 2 yrs old likes it. took a very long time to put together the base. Was missing 1 screw, actually 1 screw was the wrong type. One of the railings was shorter than the other by a fraction of a centimeter, no big deal but was a flaw in a toddler bed.

This is a gorgeous toddler bed and took my husband about an hour to put it together. He didn’t have any problems doing it by himself. The drawer opens nice and neatly and the crib mattress fits perfect. I have nothing negative to say about this product. Very satisfied.

I bought this bed for my grandaughter’s second birthday. She loves it because it replaces her crib that was getting too small. It turned out to be a little smaller than i’d thought it would be. She will probably be needing a new on long before she is five. It was well worth it for the price.
